I was saddened to hear that Brims in Brisbane are stopping business, for many years I had relied on them to supply me with Teak and Beech veneer/ply for application to cabin soles.
Fortunately I have found a veneer supplier company that can fabricate Teak and Beech or Teak and Russian Oak or whatever. The range of veneers are endless and the plank/caulking width can be made to order. Another good thing is that the veneer thickness is no less than .55mm, plenty of wood thickness for repairs or reapplication of clear coatings.
