    OOhh... the poor deluded souls to a degree the owners and some of the"designers" who only drew something that looked"groovy". Such a proliferation of W series anchors needed for this sector.

    True though... & I have taken /earnt some of it too... so kind of fine in that they're sharing it about... more actual real fun to be had in smaller craft, personally I'd like to think of spending my millions(now where did I put that) on something that might benefit others more directly & just paddle down the river in a canoe. Of course superyachts do stimulate economy in build/maintenance & crew then generally get sold for 10-20% of original cost..

    I remember the first time I saw pictures of the earlier A. I actually quite liked her and had already made a slightly similar, much smaller model with DelftShip (77' or a stretched 99' IIRC).

    But then I finally saw a picture of A's transom and my comment was "Sadly, this is the end."

    It's like the designer ran out of ideas when it came to the stern. Something occasionally seen in car design too.
