This is a Cedar closet I built in the starboard side of my V-berth It replaced a small shelf that was origially there. I used foue quarter Mohogany and eastern red cedar, all fasted with bronze squarehead screws.

OK so somehow I have no more picture room for my spot in this world So I used brass hook latches to keep the large top door secured and as you can se from the picture there is a small bottum door for access to items that are below the second shelf. Since I used four quarter mohogany for the entire frame I could always sacrafice the large upper door for an emergency repair to my boat so it has 2 jobs. Just thinking out loud that's all. I like sharing my projects with you folks because when I bought my wooden boat very few would offer me advice unless there was an exchange of cash.
