    Indeed he was Doug. He's got a nice fleet of yachts under his belt and many are thankful for that.

    An interesting analogy here: When the ancient Egyptian pharaohs died they insisted on being buried with a boat. It was considered mandatory to navigate the afterlife (this was before the days of monotheistic religions of course). Similarly, great boat designers can smile before taking their last breath as they know their boats will sail on long after they are gone.

    Here's a toast to Ted and other great designers that have gone before him.
