No, Nes Sledeverksted and Nes TrebÄtverksted is not my companies or web sites. You should send an email to the Owner, Mr Egil Kristiansen, mailto:nsledeve@online.no
I know that he doesn't have a clear understanding of copyrights :)
He is building the prototype for the Backman 18, that's our buisiness relation.

I must add that Nes TrebÄtverksted HAS built one Didi Mini, even if most of the pictures shown are stolen from others...

That site doesnt move much, unfortunately. Too bad, I'd love to help out. I've got some good (I think) input on the design. I want plans also, but am too cheap right now.
Your best bet would be to buy plans from Dixdesign.com. It's a good design to get started with.

I can only add that plans from Dudely Dix are very detailed and he has thought it through very well.
Why do you want free plans when you can get very good plans almost for free?

What plans for "almost free" Raggi ? Not the Didi-mini, the mkII plans are $600, with bulkhead patterns $300.

What do want to pay for a mainsail?
The drawings from DD costs maybe the same as an aliuminium boom :)
I think it's very good value for money?
How much do you plan to spend on this boat?
I estimate at least 20.000USD and 1000 hours, you can probably multiply with 2 or 3 if you want to compete with the best.

    What avbout Marc Lombard?
    Have you asked him?
He has had some succesful minis.

Oooh, I get it now.. you are correct. Plans are cheap in that respect. But here is my problem, I think the plans are on the costly side when you consider that no home built Mini 650 has been very competitive in the Transat race. It's not that I'm thinking about doing it, but it is a race boat. So, $900 for plans, for a fast daysailer, is kinda outta my budget.
I havent talked to anyone else (well one other person) yet because I'm moving across country, but it is a consideration.
