I've seen pics of a new vehicle basically a tricycle w the one wheel aft and the front wheels allow the motorcycle part to bank as usual. Don't know what they call it.

There's a vintage Porsche 928 in my garage. It is equipped with the Weissach (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weissach_axle) rear axle, a complicated collection of bars and swivel points that alters the wheel position by using centripetal forces. It does improve cornering on a level road and creates an illusion of banking. At least the car doesn't lean outward in fast corners like an SUV.

The weird looking Carver is a tricycle that really banks like a plane, its price and shape are prohibitive so it is nothing but a toy for the wealthy. Their designers will soon launch the first passenger car that can fly....
