    Hi guys

I have received some e-mails and PM's asking for plans.

Unfortunately i simply dont have the time - i am building this as a fun project and hope others will find inspiration from it. I am not selling plans and wont set up a website. I will however post my CAD drawings here soon - but take note they were drawn for my own usage and very basic. All postings on this little boat can only be found on boatdesign.net and this is the best place to ask questions and i will try to answer when i can.

    thanks for the interest

I had problems with my TurboCAD 15 but have reloaded V 14 deluxe. everything is working fine.

Here are my drawings / sketches / notes.

As i said before these drawings were for my own personal usage.

    Enjoy - laugh - learn - whatever.

But do yourself a favour - get away from the frikken TV and go and build a boat - ANY BOAT - just do it :D :D :D

    Part 8

My keels took time - however i am quite happy with them.

The second hull is now being put together and will come out of the jig this week - so that the bridge deck and cabin can start.

I like that flat bottom. With a bit of an outboard you may get it nicely on the plane.

What's the design draft you have there ?

    Hi Fanie

I designed a 300mm draft to give me an total displacement of 700 kg. This is a lot as the hulls are actually a lot lighter than expected, with them being 9mm sides and 12mm bottom. I wanted a "heavy" cruiser to be able to carry all my **** and the gaff rig. We are still going to do your 12v electronic wind vane steering - i need a helmsman that doesnt talk back:D :D :D

The second hull will come out of the jig this week as i spent this weekend filleting seams. Glassing in this heat is hectic - small batches and run yer frikken arse off:D

Butch i see that your pics are slowing down again - get craking bro - we need to show all these other MF's that we can actually WORK and get things done around here:D :D

    Way down under

:DHi Manie just to let you know that a kiwi thinks that is a fine boat and is giving some very serious thought to building one
Any chance of forwarding some water pics and a bit of detail on the rig which I would assume would follow Warram soft wing style
    cheers
    Jeff

Sorry, I decided many moons ago, that after all that, I wanted a mono.
Those hulls then went to a friend. I am not sure what happened after that.
