Sport Fishing Boats influencing on Caballitos de Totora?

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if the Sport Fishing boats influenced their form in design from the "Caballitos de Totora".

    This links shows a picture of a "Caballito de Totora", if you don't know how it looks like, but the forms of the "Caballito de Totora" and the Sport Fishing boats are very similar so I was just wondering.

    When you say sports fishing boat this is what I think of. Not sure I see any derivitive influence.
