Who says mini's get no love??

Having been relegated to the fringes of most boating forums, I've started a new website dedicated to ALL mini boats and mini boat lovers. If you're a mini boat owner, aficianado or just want to see what's up with the little boats, stop on by.

Come and join the madness at www.MiniBoatMadness.com.

    Thanks.

What is a "Mini Boat" anyway? Is a Mini Boat a scaled down version of a full size boat?

    What is a mini boat?

Interesting question and one that we've been discussing on the site.

Basically a scaled down version of a full size boat, with a maximum length in the neighborhood of 14'.

These boats were very popular in the 70's and 80's, prior to the jet ski invasion. Lots of the big boys built minis - Hallet, Eliminator, Cougar, Schiada, etc., etc and lots of other strictly mini builders.

Google mini speed boats and you'll be surprised at what you find.
