    www.thenavalarch.com launches Midship Section Modulus Calculator

    An excel spreadsheet which can be used to calculate the Section Modulus of the Midship Section of the vessel.

    Features:

    • Easy to use interface
    • Add upto 500 longitudinal strength members
    • Plates, stiffeners, girders can be added as separate categories
    • An in-built calculator to calculate stiffener properties for L,T and Bulb sections
    • Dynamically updates the Section Modulus calculations


    Very useful for

    • Ship Design
    • Ship Longitudinal Strength calculations
    • Verification against Class rules
