    Shot on the Illinois River, by any chance, Brian?

    They do seem to have a bit of an invasive-species problem there with the Asian carp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb8OmEr7VqI

    The first I saw of this was a news segment a year or two ago, it's probably on youtube somewhere but I can't find it now.... the news anchor was standing on the bow of the boat with his microphone, and the crew turned on a couple of probes to apply a small electric field to the water. A thirty-pound fish whalloped the announcer in the face within a few seconds and several more hit the console where the crew were hiding. Very good clip, I'll try to track it down....
