would anybody know if this engine uses a ballast resistor or not. also is there a way to give gas to the engine while in neutral like in a car when the engine has trouble starting and you just pump the gas. i'm just new at this, if someone can help...Thanks
    it's a mercruiser 1985 170 3.7L engine.
