    You're right; writing correctly is not difficult. Unfortunately, writing correctly seems to be one of those things in life that take just a little bit of effort and is therefore avoided by far too many people.

    &quot;Ly&quot; is usually the ending used in the adverbial form of a word, as opposed to the adjectival form. &quot;Beautiful&quot; and &quot;correct&quot; are adjectives; &quot;beautifully&quot; and &quot;correctly&quot; are adverbs. She is a beautiful woman (Adjective <em>beautiful</em> modifies the noun <em>woman</em>). She paints beautifully (Adverb <em>beautifully</em> modifies the verb <em>paints</em>). That is the correct answer (Adjective <em>correct</em> modifies the noun <em>answer</em>. He answered the problem correctly (Adverb <em>correctly</em> modifies the verb <em>answered</em>).
