This has two opposing hulls, keels or quazi sails just not sure how you make it a practical boat for travelinging in. You would never capsize but you would end up on your head if it flipped.

It is my little fishing invention

I'm trying to figure out how to make a big one I can ride in for publicity.

Just make a huge one out of styrofoam and fiberglass, paint it the same eye-bleeding colors, and tow it behind the boat, having an assistant "flip it" every 5 or 10 seconds- or set up a mechanical device to flip it for you.

Riding in it just sounds ridiculous....

I was not thinking of riding on it - just in it. OUCH

Eye-Bleeding is the right description and even at night with the glow sticks you can see them way down stream.

Well, anything is possible, but like any other radical boat design, it all comes down to one thing.

    What's your budget?

I spent my budget on that shippment from China.
    I have Bobbers no Dollars.
Want to by 5,000 each of 4 sizes bobbers?
I'll make them real cheap $15,000.
I'm looking for investors as silly as me?

I don't build boats, but I do a lot of composites work. I'm going to start by talking about a floating "advertising platform", more than an actual boat. Here are my ballpark estimates.

You can build a 6 foot demonstration model for about $400.

You can probably build a huge demonstration model- maybe 15 feet long- for around $1,000.

To build something you can ride in will cost about $3,000.

To build something that you can ride in and can "flip" will cost about $12,000.

To build something that is powered will cost $10,000 or more.

To build something that is powered and will flip will cost $30,000 or more.

Now... if you don't want to do it yourself...

Triple the costs if you want someone to design and build it for you.

Probably multiply the cost by 10 if you want it to also be a safe and functional boat.

    Thanks for the estimates TOOT.
I could probably even make one that is inflatable for about $50 but it would not flip. There is alot more to getting it to plane and flip then one might think.

I am a very proficient 3D designer and an OK fisherman.

If you really want to play with the idea you would need to consider the density of the material compared to the plastic I'm using and adjust the thickness proportionately.
