    Hi friends,

Can anyone tell me, the values of mass moment of inertia of a floater in ANSYS AQWA are about which reference axis ?

Is it about the center of gravity of the floater or is it about the cut water plane area ?

Mass moment of inertias (including added mass and hydrodynamic cross coupling) are always about the bodies CG.

Remember that "moment of inertia" is just a mathematical concept and its physical meaning depends on context. Iwp is not the same as Ixx.
