timber boatbuilding!!

    What still happenned? Framing boats with traditional methods or doing it in Dubai?
    Dubai has enough money to do anything, including building their own ski area, the timbers sure as hell aren't local.
    Lots of people still build in traditional methods.

    yes I,ve see em in asia turkey pacific, travelled much of the world, What beats me is how can the afford all that solid teak, and where does it come from, 20 yrs ago teak was 3000 a cube, must me over 12 now, these are mainly work boats
