    MUST BE A US CITIZEN - able to pass a drug screen and bacground check
    Responsibilities:
    • Work independently (with minimal supervision) or on project teams
    • Lead small structural engineering projects or teams
    • Perform complex analyses, calculations and engineering studies
    • Develop formal technical reports summarizing analyses, calculations and studies
    • Interface with clients and staff in other disciplines at a peer level
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering
    • Proficiency in the use of industry standard structural design tools and finite element analysis software; knowledge of NASTRAN essential
    • Knowledge / experience in transient dynamic analysis (shock, US Navy DDAM, air blast)
    • Applicants with a specialty in fatigue life evaluation of complex structures will be given special consideration
    • Ability to work with AutoCAD
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially EXCEL, essential
