    Must be US citizen be able to pass Drug Screen and Background Investigation
    • Works independently (with minimal supervision), or on project teams
    • Interfaces with client at peer level
    • Lead small electrical engineering project teams, if required
    • Manage cost, schedule and technical product development
    • Supervise junior staff on projects or teams
    • Performs quality assurance reviews of complex analyses, calculations and drawings developed by junior and mid-level staff
    • Perform calculations applying electrical engineering principles, techniques, procedures and criteria
    • Prepare technical reports or other engineering documentation
    • Prepare technical purchase specifications for major machinery control system equipment Develop test procedures to ensure equipment and system performance
    • Assist with shipboard automation, control, generation and power distribution systems testing
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in Electrical Engineering
    • At least 8 years of professional engineering experience in the design and/or design evaluation of US Navy shipboard Machinery Control Systems
    • Automation and control systems test experience desirable
    • Automation and control systems programming experience desirable
