    Estimation

    Absolutely yes.
    I agree with you.

    Laranjo123 asking only about numbers.....
He never asks about price ( and maybe weight as Fast Fred mentioned)
I think also that he is not taking in account what contributes an Air Compressor (turbo)
on the engine's design & operation and why the Reduction Gearbox is
involved to Propulsion Systems ( noted by RAraujo).

I was following him to all subjects on his threads and I suggested to see the
applications of the specific manufacturer (FAIRBANKS-MORSE) (who are leaders
on the considered point) and finally to choose what he needs on his application.

I am sorry if I let things to be misunderstood.

Mr.Adler i can't seem to find a 2900-3000 bhp @ 100-200rpm ? What they have engines that are ranging from 5000+ horsepower engines. mine is twin screw prop.

    mreoe4sure who me

On the web site Fast Fred gave there is a RT-FLEX 35 that is a 5 cylinder 3475 kw which is less than 3000bhp. Its speed is 142-167 rpm. So I believe there is a slow speed engine of less than 5000 bhp. STEVE
