I have just heard that the renowned New Zealand multihull designer Malcolm Tennant has died in hospital after an accident in his home last Sunday.
Malcolm was to New Zealand what Lock Crowther was to Australia. He will be sorely missed.

    Vale. :(

I'm very sorry to hear that. I was coersponding with Mr. Tennant a few weeks ago about some plans. He was very helpful and seemed like a great individual.

All of us here offer our sincerest tribute in remembrance of his legacy, Marie. And through your company's enterprise we all look forward to your efforts to bring to fruition one of his last designs. He was a true maverick. I only know of a few of his catamaran designs, and I for one would have loved to know more about his design philosophy that went into DOMINO. I hope to hear more on DOMINO's progress on your blog. God Bless.
