    Nice, but expensive. I still favour the circular saw route. :D

    Low Energy Vessels

    I'm new to this site so don't be hard on me if I my 2 pence is worth nothing.

    Here is some South African sites with cats that might be of interest.

    Treeman did n't indicate if he want's a trailerable boat.

    Leecats come in various sizes 21' to around 40' and are basic trailerable workboats.
    They are sturdy, can take rough seas and is probably the most widely used boats around our coast. With the right power plants they are economical to run.

    Nice, I've seen that a lot of Cat fishing boats are being used on the east coast of USA. The trend has not really hit the Great Lakes region yet.

    Cats are very popular here due to there stability at anchor and in heavy seas.

    The leecat design's only real flaw is that it dislikes weight in the bow, get the weight aft and the bow up and she'll trot home nicely.
