Lost Keels-Request for Information

    What is the purpose of this list? Is this for people who are bored and too poor to buy new keels but rich enough to go get them, and want to go salvage other keels for use on their boats?

    No. The purpose is to emphasize the importance of good engineering and craftsmanship when you install a keel.

    It also reminds folks that the big lump of lead under the boat and its structure is a critical component that must be inspected and maintained.
