Working on a project. looking for ideas on powering a bimini top with an electric actuator. looking for a specific picture I remember.... sucks getting old...... I think it was a magazine article. it was a pontoon boat, about mid 90's with an electric LM style actuator attached to the forward bows, with the bases mounted to the rails and used to pull the bimini top up. Not sure if it was a home-brewed setup or a commercial setup.
it pulled it from a partially up position to a full up position.
looking to duplicate that or something similar with industrial actuators and not use the current junk available on the market. however need the pic to show the admiral prior....
Thought I would reach out to the boating collective to look into their archives and collective memories.
Thanks in advance
