I am looking for an active math forum (similar to this forum) where i could get comments/answers about the following 2 questions:
1)Concerning short path algorithm with time dependent edge length; research in this subject seems to be active, i am looking to implement it in a program so i am looking for something simple enough, any ideas? (links, libraries, description)?
2)I am looking for an algorithm to offset curves (polynomial, b-splines), mainly using a constant radius, but variable radius would be interesting. Something robust is needed.

In my opininon, these two methods form the basis of routing softwares, 2) is needed in the isochrons method (used in maxsea and deckman), and 1) being used (I think) in goflow, i am more interested in the first one, but programming and computation time might make the second more attractive.

    Regards,
