    Joiner Designer – Boca Raton, FL - 6 month contract


    Butler is looking for experienced Joiner Designers! These contract positions will run for approximately 6 months.

    Job Description:

    · Under the general direction of the Project Engineer, responsible for the development of all the Joiner related engineering/design activities on the assigned project
    · Develop engineering/design data, technical input and drawings to define the work scope of the project.
    · Maintain visibility to senior management on status of continuing engineering effort
    · Interface with project management, estimating, purchasing and production to maintain overall schedules
    · Develop all engineering drawings and assignments within budgets for scope of work for the project.
    · Prepare and submit data to senior management for contract changes based on input from other departments.
    · Prepare detailed estimates to support engineering changes
    · Interface with vendors and subcontractors

    Required:

    · US Citizenship required
    · Two to three years minimum Joiner experience
    · Five to ten years experience in marine engineering/design
    · Minimum 3 years working knowledge of AUTOCAD

    Preferred:

    · Shipyard experience a plus
