    SailDesign Old Phart! Stay upwind..

You are close enough to Newport to find any number of qualified designers, and near enough to Bristol to finds any number of qualified builders.
Try Yves Tanton for design (Tantonyachts@aol.com) and Barrettt Holby to build them. (Holby Marine - 401-253-1711)
    Good Luck,
    Steve

I can help - lobsterboats and their yacht derivatives are the types of boats I grew up on. The yacht pictured above is based on a commercial Northumberland Strait (Prince Edward Island, Canada) lobsterboat hull, custom modified for use as an express cruiser/sportfisherman. I have worked with several builders to develop custom yachts based on the lobsterboat type. I operate under my company name of Mason Marine Designs Inc., located in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. Past experience with American clients has proven that the combination of the free trade agreement between our countries and Internet communications makes such projects easy and fast. Wow
Starting a company with a plan like that?
    You don't have a designer.
    You don't have a builder.
You think it's an original idea?
    Are you 15?
