I am looking for advice finding a catamaran daysailing vessel that doesn’t have a big cabin or any, but has seating versus trapezes. My wife is hoping such a beast exists. I’m guessing the boom has to be up higher, and so perhaps this beast would have a tiny cabin with perhaps ideally a head inside.

Woody Brown designed and built some very exciting catamaran day cruisers for the Waikiki tourist trade.

We want to be able to take out older people in mild comfort, so seating, no trapeze and maybe a cabin with a head in it. The plumbing would not need to be elaborate, but perhaps a small toilet with tank under.

I did look for Brown’s designs and found very little actually.

I think Wood’s Chat 18 is closest I’ve found. He owes me a favor, imo. I’ll see if he’ll give me the plans. It is a bit narrow, but would fit well on a mooring off our dock.
