Looking for a build plan for a tuff trailerable, weekender, beachable trimaran?

    Yep. At least give a clue why none of teh above suit, but really do a search and see what's out there...

    She would be a solid platform for the fisherman, similar type of construction you would see in the Phillipines and that area with bigger hamas

    Thank you for the reply Sylvain.

    Please general opinion on this;

    Could a FAO 7.8 meter trimaran, decked over, and with a minimalist cabin and low aspect junk rigged do the same kind of offshore and ocean voyaging as a Wharram Tiki 26? Drogue or sea anchor can be used for when conditions get too bad.

    I know I am comparing a tri vs a catamaran. But I like the looks of the design, the fact that I can build her in my shed and she can easily be trailed and stored.
