May not be what you’re looking for, or what you could find/buy because they are the most desired boat in Hawaii, and the molds were sold to China... but Molokai cats are the best power catamarans in my eyes. They have a wide enough beam to overcome the stability issues that compression tunnel catamarans have, and compensate for the lost lift with many steps in the hulls. They have a great ride because of their very sharp bow entries, and have more freeboard than any other cat that I have ever seen. Very efficient, I have seen a 26’ version powered with twin 90hp Suzuki’s going about 25kt, and they could easily go much faster while retaining their great ride because of their very high hull speed. I hope everyone likes these photos and I may be taking some more this weekend!!!
