    RANCHI OTTO Naval Architect

    MARINE ENGINEER



    - For platform based projects (10m – 40m vessels for paramilitary & law enforcement applications)



    Duties & Responsibilities:

    - Assist in design review and finalization of contractual technical specifications for new vessels

    - Supervise execution of assigned projects and supplier’s performance

    - Oversee engineering activities, trials and quality control of vessels up to delivery

    - Evaluate new equipment their installation onboard vessels.

    - Responsible for investigation and analysis of defects, failures related to diesel engines, shipboard machinery systems

    - Assist in the successful execution of all purchasing and subcontracting activities for vessel construction, maintenance & upgrades

    - Responsible for proper reporting, documentation and filling of project materials



    Requirements:

    - Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and/or Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 or equivalent

    - Minimum 1 year experience as Chief or Second Engineer or at least a year of shore experience as Superintendent Engineer

    - Strong managerial & interpersonal skills

    - Proficient in spoken & written English

    - Ability to work independently

    - Must be willing to travel according to project needs (mainly ASEAN and West Africa)



    Other information:

    - Based in Singapore

    - Locals/ PR/ Foreigners welcome

    - 5 day work week (0900 -1800hrs); may be extended subjected to job requirements
