Help identify this boat - Cedar Strip

    We need help identifying this boat. What style of boat is it? History?

    length: 17 feet
    beam: 4 feet
    construction: strip built with two rowing stations.

    The only identifying marks, are on the bow that states "Sail Sand Point".

    Looks like a derivitive of an "Adirondack Guideboat" to me. If that helps any.
