Thanks Craig, It's been a long time coming but will be worth the wait. I'm really looking forward to having a boat large enough to take the family out on but one that should do ok on the race course as well.

Looks terrific! I wouldn't have time or patience these days to do strip method as you have, but man it's clearly worth it! Things gonna be beautiful when it's all done.

Thanks all, I've been fiddling with deck supports and bulkheads today and it all looks pretty good. Might have a chance to tab them in this weekend or early next week. Still have the daggerboard case and a few other bits and pieces to construct before I can fit the deck.

I'm eager to see real world space and storage inside after dagger board and bulkheads and such.

Matter of fact os can attest, when I first saw plans and there pattern sizes I was shocked how small they were. So curious to see actual size after battens and hull thickness complete.

The full size patterns in the plans need adjustment as they are undersize. I scaled mine up at a local plan printer by about 182% iirc. The other option would be to loft the boat from the lines plan to agreement which is the approach I'd take if I was to do the molds again (ahhh the benefits of hindsight). The mold sections when scaled aren't too bad but they are not perfectly fair.

Shweeewww! Haha that really eases my mind cause when I opened up plans and saw a 8 inch half beam! I thought wow! I'm gonna have to cheat this thing up somehow! And asked paddy if they were full size he said they were but minus bats, but still even with them it'd half been a 17 inch boat inside at best.

Might hit you up for a tall and wide on any one of the formers, cause then I can calculate rest outta that. He'll just a transom dimension would get me a formula.

Oh and yeah! Such an easy boat I think I'd loft backwards from formers to double check anyway.

Corley. Do you have any further news about Stuart.
His website is still Up, but not functional and he does not reply to any address or phone number. Very curious

I last saw Stuart at the 2014 MYCV AGM but I'm sorry I didn't speak to him. I've not heard that he intended to or had shut down the design business though.
