Lion 800 new plywood yacht

    I did not mean to say that there is something wrong, I just ask if a line that, I believe, should be "soft" and is not, really represents the shape that should have the hull in the areas indicated. Those shapes, imo, could correspond to a "bulge" in the hull and I do not know if that is what the designer wanted to achieve. Maybe it's just an optical effect. I do not know, that's why I ask. That is all.

    I now understand what you're talking about, this is the optical distortion that the camera makes while taking panorama shots.

    Are you going to complete the painting on the under-side before you roll the hull, or finish it after the rest of the hull has been completed ?

    The hull of the yacht will be covered with fiberglass, plastered and painted, after which the yacht will be carried out work with the deck.

    The hull of the yacht has been glued with fiberglass, 2 layers of fabric with a density of 300 g.м2, after laying the first layer was a week and the resin completely polymerized, so before laying the second layer the surface was sanded with a grinding machine.

    All the work on the pasting of the shell took 4 working days.
    Consumption of materials, epoxy resin 45 kg, fiberglass 40 kg.

    Fiberglass 300 g / m² from 1.1 usd
    Epoxy from 5 usd per kg.

    To flip the boat, a crane was used, the boat was fixed to the crane with the help of soft straps, in the places of the hull in the area of the deck there are spacers to prevent the body from shrinking.
    The whole procedure of the canting went smoothly without complications, the yacht again took its place, the work on assembling the deck begins.
