for those of you who are bored with the levels of skill, expertise and craftsmanship displayed in the Tally Ho! restoration, for those of you who find that building merely a canoe out of cardboard is for cissies, Here is the Cardboard Houseboat. Enjoy....

    Neat.

Perchance they could revise their design to use cardboard for the internal framework and paper over the hull.

Row, row, row your cellulose http://www.cupery.net/PBArtic/shell.html

If I recall previous reading, the paper in question really should be the sort that has long fibers so that it would be a strong as possible. A modern glue might help overcome the issue of needing to be frequently resurfaced.

Rather than reinforce with glass I wonder about using brush coir?
