I just wish my Russian was as good as my Spanish, or Japanese, or Korean .... sometimes my German is even better than my Russian ....

This language is harder than English! By at least 2 times. And unlike Japanese, or Korean, there is no 'basic' language you can learn and get by with - you have to learn it all, or you cannot communicate much.

But, they love me, and that makes all the hard work worth it.

How did you pick up French and Spanish - Every time I tried French, it got sucked back into my spanish?

OK, I still have to go to translate.google.com ... And I know what the problem is: noun declension .... They break it down into Greek, or German, type 'simplicity.'

And then, you find out about the exceptions .... There went any semblance of simple.

Did I mention they report the news in Ukrainian where I live .... as if that would help me learn Russian ....
