I saw the boat in the Agnes Varda film and I liked it very much.
Does anyone knows if can I find plans for a boat like this?(see attached file)

No, but I like the tower in the background.

    Is it French?

Double ender with what looks like a loose footed Lateen sail. Any chance of getting a bigger picture? Looks like it has a full deck too, with just a small cockpit well. Interesting design feature...looks very seaworthy.

It's a Catalane Llaud from the French Catalonia part, south west of Mediterranean coast of France.

There is a book by Chappelle on work boats in America. These boats where used by Italians, mainly in the West Coast. Officially they were called "Fellucas" but where known as "Dago Boats". You can find a set of plans in the book. The Fisheries Department also has some plans in archives.

    Many thanks Daniel
You are from Maine, I think the "source" of wooden boats.
What is your opinion for this type of boats-llaud-.
    Is this seaworthy?
In the film we see this boat in a river and the "teaching man" says "too much water in the sea" .

A Llaut is seaworthy, no doubt.

What is said in a movie doesn´t mean anything.
