    Good pace you say.

I went to the tracker and "good pace" comes up a little short.

The little blue dots on the yellow tracker line are location every 15 minutes. The slowest 15 minute interval I found was 17 kts. Most intervals are above 25 kts and more than a few are above 30 kts.

It looks like the picked a great launch time with respect to optimum wind. If the wind holds, they will beat the record by a big margin.

Lending Club 2 smashes Newport to Bermuda record.

    From Lending Club Sailing:

    They've done it!

Time subject to ratification from WSSRC stands at 23 hours 9 minutes and 52 seconds.

That's an incredible average speed of 27 knots.

    WELL DONE GUYS!

More info coming soon with photos.....
