    People,

I do not know if I am i the right forum, but I want to do a project on boat hulls. I wish to build a model v-hull made out of balsa wood. Could anyway give me a link were I could find the steps involved in building a model hull?

    Thanks

    Ivor

    Boat Hull model

    Ivor,
You can use section views to get the shape you want. With Design CAD if you work with elipse functions two or more usually are involved with boats.
There is also a product called BobCAD that can surface the design from the cross sections and then a model can me machined upside down.(Keel up)
Let me know if that helps. I have a CNC router that I got to do small boat models let me know if can help?
