I have an 85' wooden ketch with 2 28m high masts in solid wood. They have now got patches of rot and need to be replaced. I am considering going for laminated masts. Does anybody out there know where I could get some? And does anybody have any experience with laminated masts of that size?

I have no experience of wooden masts of that size myself but if I needed some I would contact Spencer rigging in Cowes.

Talk to Doug. We have worked together in boat restoration and I highly recomend him. He works for one of the maritime museums in Norway.

Thanks to Wet feet and Gonzo

Thanks for the tips. Will try Spencer rigging in Cowes and the Doug in a norwegian maritime museum if I can find him. You woulden't happen to have an email or a more specific location for him, Gonzo?
