    Poro point

    Ssor,

Am in Manila. Just finished my stint down south.

I visited Poro point some five years ago while i was working in a boatyard in Bataan. We checked a yacht that was needing repair.

Is that the place where they have a local yacht club and a Vietnamese boat converted into a restaurant?

    Regards

    Poro Point

    Ssor,
Yes, I remember now. Poro point used to be a naval base. Some of the base people stayed. Most of them now owns beachfront properties.

You were probably no longer there when the Vietnamese "boat people" arrived.

Nice place. I like the Yacht club. Not too stuffy.

    Rx
