    I love the " Pininfarina's recent Hydrofoil Sailing Yacht" sailing at 30 knots, the sails trimmed "close hauled", in what has to be ~ 30 knot winds, and the sea is flat calm.

    Oh well, dreams can be fun.

    The first picture(above) of the Carafino hydrofoil kite board is an all carbon derivative of the original air chair foil system.

    Here is a more up to date all carbon foil system(pix 1) for windsurfers where the emphasis is more on speed than the original "air chair"(pix 3) emphasis on safe landing from jumping(pix 2) :
