GIULIETTA Sail it like you stole it

A few weeks ago had to paint the boat. While I was waiting for the travel lift to get her back in the water, I decided to do some "keel art"....:D :D :D

It serves absolutely no useful purpose other than amuse my kids when they dive, while we're at anchor and to scare the fish:D :D :D

Probably fishes will not get scared, but for sure your kids will get amused when they dive under your boat anchored at some 'ocidental praia Lusitana' ;)
    Welcome to these forums. Cheers!

I've been living in Cascais for several years. Very nice place, but the home of all winds....!

"Ali se acharam juntos num momento
Os que habitam o Arcturo congelado,
E os que o Austro tem, e as partes onde
A Aurora nasce, e o claro Sol se esconde."

Enjoy your stay in wonderful Algarve...!

I live in Estoril. But every year I go to Vilmaoura since the early 80's by boat.

    Guillermo,

    Obrigado...

I have done the Baixada once and the Vigo-Porto race twice. My boat was built in Aveiro, by Delmar Conde do you know him? He goes there a lot with his boat, (my boat's twin sister PT INOVACAO, now Mike Davis)

May be a nice and exilarating ride down when in northerly weather, but not so nice when coming the other way round....!
I don't know Delmar Conde, but I've heard about him.

Its even better going up, takes longer and you end up sailing 3 times the distance :p :p :p Its a 100% wet ride!:D :D

    By the way

Here is Cascais for you...looks familiar?

Yes, Delmar is the IRC champion this year, (for the 4th time) with this boat here bellow, we have the same hull, but mine is set as a racer cruiser, not just racer. We have the same weight as mine is PVC core.

    Nice boat!
I don't recognize the big white façade. What is it? Is it at the marina?

No, that is the old Hotel Estoril Sol. Its being dismanteled, and so as they work inside and in the rear, they left the facade up, where they put a large ISAF WORLD CUP banner. If you look closely you can see the ISAF logo there.

Having a second look it seems like the Hotel Atlântico, with something white over the façade...

Nah, the Atlantico in that photo is under my boom

Here the Atlantico is right above Starbord wheel, they are different buildings

My home was very close to the 'Farol da Guia'. I could see it from the garden.

I realize. The Estoril Sol, not the Atlantico.
