    flyak

Why the height of the flight seems so much more steady compared to the flight of the Moth, even without any system for altitude control?

Because i expect the speed attained to be approximately constant once it's flying.

Do you think there is any significant difference between take off speed and flight speed?
If yes, the foils should be able to manage different attitudes indeed, keeping in mind that it is not possible to shift body weight aft or forward.
Do the flyak use a front foil like Miller's?

    altitud/take off

Their altitude control is ingenius-relying on the loss of foil efficiency within one chord or so of the waters surface.
According to "Foilyak Theory" cruise speed is 15% higher than takeoff speed and max speed is 30% higher than takeoff.
It would seem to me that the "steadiness" of the foilyak as compared to the Moth is that on the Moth the power is applied way above the foils and is extremely variable.
