To whom you will give you the Oscar of best forunite.
Of course I am not in the forum very long, so perhaps it is arrogant from my part to propose this Oscar, but I do that also for the fun of it, and don't take it to seriouslsy, it is just a friendly thing.
If I transgressed the rules, please delete the thread.

    So here it is

Plase pass the envellop, my choice is: GUILLERMO

He is a gentleman, is knoweldge is great, what he wrote can be taken to the bank, always polite and on topic.
    This is my choice.
    Cheers
    Daniel

I agree, but we should maybe call it The Otter, so as not to upset Hollywood. Guillermo would, I think, be the first person based on his honorable behaviour throughout the thread, along with the quality and depth of his postings.

Very nice toes, some of the best. Manie, to me, it looks like balsa laid in probably heavy, wet mat on a slightly cueved surface. What actually is it?

guillermo , no contest, I have met him personally, not that I needed to see for myself because it is obvious his honesty is what stands out

ok this is a frikken disaster
jeez once i got going i couldn't stop - you need a month of Sundays to do this
this list of mine represents more or less what i can remember (remember i am an old fart) the list should be much longer - but it takes lots of time

First and foremost - this is BOAT DESIGN . net
sure you also need an element of fun and some drivel helps to relieve pressure
but my critique is based on BOATING and as i am going to try to act my age and not my mentality:D i will look at the quality of BOATING posts and the assistance and advice that was offered to beginners and in general
My bias is towards the economy of scale = affordable (not cheap)

are the posts and advice helping the BOATING community
the nominees background - experience - know how - accuracy
NOT the volume of posts - the quality - terhohalme and Martijn_vE have made huge invaluable contributions

    guillermo 13.03.05 66 threads 3373 posts
    wynand 24.10.04 82 threads 845 posts
    doug lord 27.05.09 23 threads 470 posts
    ad hoc 14.10.08 1 thread 1706 posts
    brian eiland 03.06.02 136 threads 1889 posts
    lewisboats 26.10.02 55 threads 1087 posts
    RHough 10.11.05 32 threads 1271 posts
    Rick Willoughby 20.01.07 20 threads 3754 posts
    Martijn_vE 05.04.05 6 threads 200 posts
    terhohalme 22.06.03 6 threads 318 posts

so yes there are LOTS OF WINNERS

but GUILLERMO will wear my crown this season December 2009

    jeez now i am tired
this was hectic - gonna drink by Frosty and look for crew for Mas :p
