jon boat

    hello, i would like to mount a sub floor in my jon boat. what is the least expensive way to waterproof 2x4's for this project? will thompsons waterproofer work? is that good enough? any comments would be a great help.

    If you are going to use 2x4's for your structure then just use treated lumber and don't worry about waterproofing. They will out last you.

    would'th using 2x4s add a lot of weight?
