my new 37' lifeboat where can I find specs ?

    I just bought a surplus 37' 145 man capacity lifeboat with a Bukh diesel Can anyone tell me more about where to go to find out more about her ? or some books that might help in rigging simple unstayed masts ?

    The boat should have a nameplate/ builders tag...?
    If not; Check the serial no on the Bukh diesel engine, contact Bukh in Denmark, for details for who got that engine....That way you may find someone to contact.

    Maybe the boat is made in HADING company or NORSAFE..seldom companies get the certificate for 145 persons lifeboat.
