20200731_105446.jpg I think these are veinte cohol. They are not plantains even though they are quite large.
They are good in protein shakes.

130,000 years ago capitalism didn't exist. There were no machines. There were no chimneys. So what caused the melt? Just like today it was caused by the Sun.

Greenland ice sheet reached tipping point 20 years ago, new study finds

At the turn of the 21st century, unbeknownst to the world, the Greenland ice sheet likely entered a state of sustained mass loss that will persist for the foreseeable future, according to a new study. This work suggests that even if the oceans and atmosphere were to stop warming today, the ice sheet will continue to lose more ice than it will gain.

The dynamics of ice loss through outlet glaciers can be likened to the functioning of a dam. "Those glaciers act just like a spillway on a dam," he said. "The more you open the spillway… the faster the reservoir gets drawn down."

Greenland is actually the largest contributor now to sea level rise, with about 20 to 25 percent of sea level rise due to Greenland. Moreover, the percentage of contribution could increase to 30 or 40 percent by the end of the century.

The study was published in Communications Earth & Environment.

Why are proponents of global warming buying and moving into seaside homes?

    Any astrologers on here?

You all know about the Great Year or the "Platonic Year"?(Great Year - Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Year) The dawning of the "Age of Aquarius"?

We are in the age of Pisces (a water sign) transitioning into the age of Aquarius (an air sign). Aquarius, dispite being an air sign, is also the "Water Barer". Warm air holds more water than cold air.

    Coincidence?

    I think not.

So, what was happening on Earth about 25,772 years ago, the last time Earth was at this axial angle in relationship to our orbit around the sun?

I'm afraid I fail to see a relationship to a 25,700 year cycle here, but it makes sense that there would be one. What's up with that?

The periodicity of the recent Ice Ages is generally considered to be governed by the Milankovitch cycles.

Milankovitch cycles describe the collective effects of changes in the Earth's movements on its climate over thousands of years. The term is named for Serbian geophysicist and astronomer Milutin Milanković. In the 1920s, he hypothesized that variations in eccentricity, axial tilt, and precession resulted in cyclical variation in the solar radiation reaching the Earth, and that this orbital forcing strongly influenced climatic patterns on Earth.

Descartes once said "I think therefore I am."
Someone asked him if he wanted a cup of coffee.
He responded "I think not." and immediately disappeared.
