I'm not trying to either prove or disprove a Creator. I can be happy with either.

What I am trying to demonstrate is that we humans are frequently sucked into illogical and uncritical thinking simply because our preconceptions hamper our clear thinking about new evidence that appears to either agree with, or dispute, (possibly erroneous) conclusions that we've previously reached.

I seriously doubt that, though it would be nice if it did happen.

GOBERO (Niger) - A woman and two children buried together some 5,300 years ago on a bed of flowers
It is one of the most poignant scenes ever captured in the human fossil record—a woman and two children buried together some 5,300 years ago on a bed of flowers, holding hands. They lived by the shores of a shallow freshwater lake in what is now Niger, at a time when the Sahara was green. A team led by famed dinosaur hunter Paul Sereno of the University of Chicago discovered this burial and hundreds of others at a site called Gobero in the Ténéré Desert, which is part of the Sahara. On April 1, Sereno told attendees here at the annual meeting of the Society for American Archaeology what his team has discovered about Gobero since he unveiled the finds in 2008.

Further excavation at the site, which spans the time from around 10,000 to 5,000 years ago, is on hold until Niger stabilizes politically, but the team has been busy working on materials recovered previously. One area of focus is pollen analysis, because the site preserves a rich pollen record. Sereno and his colleagues concluded that the individuals in the triple burial had been placed atop flowers based on pollen found in the grave. More recently, pollen recovered from a burial of a 10-year-old girl wearing an exquisite bracelet fashioned from a hippo tusk revealed that holly was placed under her feet and head. This holly has not turned up anywhere else at the site.

....Analyses of a skeleton of an adult female, meanwhile, have shown that she was shot in the leg with a stone projectile. Whether the incident was accidental or intentional remains unclear, but Sereno is hoping to figure out exactly what kind of projectile was used. Artifacts found at the site include large projectile points and tiny microliths, as well as a number of different kinds of harpoons—none of which scientists expected to see in a population of this age in this part of the world.....

Sadly, not only does this type of nonsense get your attention, but you also don't have the common sense to recognize it as BS. And doubly sadly, there are millions of people just as gullible as you.

Atlantic Circulation Weakest in More Than a Millennium
    • Previous studies have concluded that the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) is weakening
    • This study used proxies to go back further in time to confirm the unprecedented nature of these recent changes
    • It is anticipated that this slowdown will affect fisheries, could result in sea level rise and more frequent hurricanes on the East Coast of the US, as well as more extreme weather events in Europe
    • “If we continue to drive global warming, the Gulf Stream System will weaken further, by 34 to 45 percent by 2100 according to the latest generation of climate models”
    • The full collapse of the circulation system is a “low-probability, high-consequence event”
The study was reported in Nature Geosciences

Yeah, I bet they used real accurate proxies to look back in time, very objectively too, with no preconceived or desired outcome. AGWers must think the rest of us are as gullible as they are.

All of this been going on for over a generation, nothing new.
Save the Whales, Save the Spotted Owl, Save the Smelt, Save the Sands, Save the Trees, Save the Rivers, Save the Horned Toads, Save the Ice Caps, Save the Oceans,, Save, Save Save,, anything and everything, just Save the Whole D**m Planet.
Its all the same crowd of people, always has been.
We know that at least 90% of all the plastic in the oceans is coming from only 5 river estuaries, all of which are located in a geographical swath between East Africa> India> Southeast Asia> China,, all the 3rd world.
But we can't have a plastic straw? No, because it makes some people feel that we're doing something.
Now their is a report that ~89% of all the increase of CO2 emissions in the last year is from India and China, (hint,, the third world is busy building coal plants, (with little to no scrubbing,) because it's a fuel that they can afford).
A few years ago, a Swedish study reckoned that if total fuel consumption of American vehicles were reduced by 50%, (double the mpg,) it would only reduce CO2 less than .1%,, (yes, that's less than one-tenth of 1 percent).
If all the perpetually aggrieved/hand wringing/pearl clutching, starry eyed idealists, (who have absolutely no problem in spending your money,) actually believe that bankrupting the economies of the 1st world, (read America,) with untold billions/trillions of wealth transfers to the rest of the world, and that that money would magically be used to reduce CO2 levels, (or to save the oceans/planet,) I would ask you; What have you been smoking?,, or better yet, what is your agenda.
Oh,, and I got a bridge you can buy at a bargain price.
