Cooling Load Calculation

    Hi all,
    Do anyone know about anything how to calculate cooling load for ships that can be anytype of it ? Please tell me your opinions and project if you have .

    Kind of . I mean it can be fishing boat or something else, the important thing is if there is any cold storages to keep fishes in a good way, I need to know how to calculate this cold storage's cooling load ? Do you have any idea ?

    You need to be more clear on the question. Kind of is too vague. Fishing boats often fast freeze fish which then only need a well insulated hold. The cooling load, or frigories, depend largely on the outside temperature, whether you are cooling or freezing, size of hold, tonnage of cargo, etc.

    Yes, but you have to specify the load, insulation, etc.

    it should be anything , I just need to see an example of it . it could be any type of vessel and any type of insulation. When I look into cooling load calculation , it s always related to buildings . but as I said need to find about some vessel that could be any type. am I clear ?

    the second website didnt work, by the way I know that they are same in a way , but I just wanted to mean if there is any project which is already done ? it could be more easy to see it on a done project , clear now ?

    Start with the interior and exterior temperatures, the surface area of the box and the R value of the insulation.

    by the way I was think in this website people are helping each other and sharing what they know .

    Thank you friend , but isnt it fine that being more specific? I mean for example where I can find a designed fishing stockage box ? it would be more easy to find this values on a real place. am I right ?
