loads on sheets

    Hello
    Do somebody know some basic rules to calculate the max loads on the sheets, specially on the spinnaker sheets and halyard in relation to sails area and perhaps boat weight !

    Search the harken web site they have some great information, and guidance regarding loading on running rigging components.

    Yes thanks for the reply, I know this guide but never found anything related to spinnaker sheets and halyards.

    If the Harken site isn't working for your needs, you'll find similar information on most of the line manufacturers' sites (New England, Samson, Yale, e.g.).
